Meet the Neighbors at Barnone AZ – Part 1

I’m so blessed to be able to call Barnone AZ my home! Over the past few months I have gotten to know my neighbors at Barnone. Every single one of them are so incredibly talented at what they do! We truly do have a wonderful community of craftsmen (and craftswomen!) in this creative space.

I wanted to give a shout out to my wonderful neighbors and highlight their spaces and unique businesses at Barnone AZ. I’ve enjoyed watching the transition of Barnone go from an empty hut to each of our unique spaces today!

Fire & Brimstone is ran by James Johnston, son of the famous Joe Johnston. Fire and Brimstone serves delicious, hand made wood fired cuisine. I love a wood fired pizza, and Fire and Brimstone’s is definitely one of my favorite go to spots now! James was even so nice to let me use his recycled vintage Coke bottles for my Valentine’s Day arrangements. He is definitely a great neighbor!

Lettercraft is ran by Brandon and Katie who are former teachers, just like myself! Their business has exploded over the past years. They create custom laser cut wood gifts, reclaimed wood, hand crafted signs, coasters, ornaments and more!

Prickly Pear Paper owners Lauren and Mark are two of the sweetest people I know! Their cute shop features hand made cards and other Arizona inspired knick knacks and stationary. This dynamic duo creates cards on their restored Kelsey King Jobber paper press. I love how Prickly Pear Paper has preserved a small piece of history with their printing press.

The Uprooted Kitchen is a delicious plant based eatery. You might remember them from the Gilbert Farmers Market where they served out of their 1968 travel trailer named Mabel! Now that they have a brick and mortar location, their seating area is always packed. Their menu items feature fresh product from The Farm at Agritopia. It doesn’t get more fresh than that!uprooted-kitchen-barnone-az
